Tami Slayton is a registered nurse and licensed acupuncturist, who has been working in healthcare for over 35 years. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt School of Nursing and The Academy of Five Element Acupuncture. After working in intensive care, she became curious about how other cultures practiced healing and went on a passionate search, which eventually led her to go to acupuncture school. Tami is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) was one of the first licensed acupuncturists in the state of Tennessee.
