Zion Huang. Licensed Acupuncturist, Dipl. Ac, Tai Chi Instructor

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Zion was originally exposed to Chinese Martial Arts and Tai Chi as a member of a Tai Chi club at Chung-Hsing University. Shortly after, seeking a Masters Degree in Management Information Systems at the University of Arizona, Zion and his wife, Josephine, immigrated to the United States in 1984, eventually settling down in Nashville, TN.

Zion’s first career was in IT, managing computer systems, but despite having a successful computer business, his interest in Chinese Medicine, Qi Gong, and energy healing led him to his first formal Tai Chi teacher, Mr. Kesheng Ma. Zion would learn 24 form, 42 form, 56 form sword, and 42 form sword lessons from Ma. Later, Zion found another mentor in Master Hong Liu, an experienced Qi Gong practictioner, after attending his class in Scottsdale, Arizona. From this point onward Zion responded to a calling for Acupuncture, putting his faith and passion into the healing arts in order to help others in need.

In 2011, Zion graduated from Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine, and founded his practice in a studio space on Division St. in Nashville, TN. In 2016 he opened the Streams of Grace Health and Wellness center in Brentwood, TN.

Zion also teaches his own class for fundamental Tai Chi and Qi Gong at the Green Hills YMCA.
